The Morgridge Institute seeks a motivated Student Graphic Designer to start immediately and continue through the Fall 2026 semester and onward. The student will work at the interface of graphic design and scientific storytelling, and will support the lead Graphic Designer in creating effective communication material for labs, staff, and the communications team at Morgridge.
The Morgridge Institute for Research is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join Dr. Jonathan Stefely’s lab. This position is ideal for a recent college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in a science related field (e.g., chemistry, biochemistry, or biology) who is interested in gaining in-depth, full-time, hands-on basic science research experience for ~3 years before applying to graduate school (e.g., Ph.D. program or M.D./Ph.D. program).
The Morgridge Institute for Research offers a foundational entry point for early-career science-focused UW-Madison undergraduate students to join Dr. Jonathan Stefely’s lab. This position is designed for highly motivated biochemistry or biology students looking to move beyond the classroom and develop the practical, hands-on scientific research skills required for a career in biomedical research. This posting is for a “wet lab” science student position. Please note that there is a separate “dry lab” computational biology student posting.
Morgridge scientists and staff are deeply engaged with a world-class public university. We are a catalyst to take science further in collaborations with UW–Madison.
”
My goals are to be happy with my work, do the best science I can possibly do, and contribute to the well-being of others. Morgridge allows me to do that.
”
It’s appealing that Morgridge is at the intersection of a private institute, a great public university, and the Madison bioscience industry. We can take advantage of all three worlds.
”
I enjoy that Morgridge supports execution of new ideas and visions, even if that means altering how we’ve done things in the past.
